Pressure Strengthening Technology & Advantages | Shandong Zhongjie
1. Pressure Strengthening
In accordance with GB/T18442.7 standard, pressure strengthening is a cold expansion process for stainless steel cryogenic liner. We inject graded high-pressure dechlorinated RO water into full-filled closed liner to generate controlled plastic deformation, forming residual compressive stress inside tank wall, improving stainless steel yield strength by 100%~200%.
Our softening + double-stage RO water treatment system keeps chloride ≤25ppm to avoid SCC crack under high tensile stress.
2. General Product Benefits
Lightweight design: liner thickness reduced by 25%-30%, save stainless steel cost and lower transportation & foundation expense;
Longer service life: residual stress improves fatigue resistance, avoid crack under frequent cryogenic filling;
Excellent low-temperature performance: reliable for LNG, LOX, LN₂, LAr & CO₂ storage down to -196℃.
